After releasing a new title, Hassel went throughout Europe on promotional and press tours. He loved greeting readers and swapping war stories. Sven Hassel is a best-selling author who has sold 54 million copies worldwide of his 14-novel series. The novelist passed away in 2012, but his works continue to keep Hassel alive.
