I have all the original paperbacks by Sven, and still enjoy reading them. Pity there will be no more. What about making a film of some the books!!

I've read and re-read Mr.Hassel's books many times over the last 20 years. True-to-the-letter or not they are a great read and a resounding condemnation of the results 'bad politicians' bring to nations… Thanks!

found sven and his books in the late sixtys have read them many times and have just started to read them again, i am now reaching 54 years but sven's books take me back to the late sixtys everytime i read them, many thanks

read my first book in 73 while serving in Germany and I am now on my third read og books 1-9 and first read of 10-14. Excellent reading with plenty of black humour to help overcome the horrors of that war

i first read these books as a teenager in the 1970s onwards,i enjoyed them then as adventure books with black humour. i have just read all fourteen again and enjoyed them just as much and with age and more experience of life i can appreciate the authers p
