Hello Sven, Like so many others I am again reading your books. I was a soldier for 30 years 9 of them in Germany with the British Army. My first Sven Hassel was in 1966, I feel that your gang were my mates and would have been proud to serve with them….p

I was introduced to mr. Hassels books by my father when I was around 12 I guess. Since then I got my own copies of the books (my ex-wife bought them for me for my birthday), and I´ve read all of them 6-7 times I guess. Just started over again this summer.

I have read all the books, wich published in Romanian language. It,s easy to read and you'll get a bit of sympathie for the German soldiers in this Battalion. Sven is a great author and therefor I recommend his books to the people I know.
