I simply love Sven Hassel's novels and I am emotioned by all the sad things he got through. It has awakened my interest. If you happen to know how the rest of the group ended the war, where and when they ended, please let me know.

I have all 14 of Sven's books. I first bought Legion of the Damned in hardback from Readers Digest. I loved it so much that I eventually got all 14 of his books. I have read them scores of times over the past 40 years and still find them enthralling.

I've read most of the Sven's books and I love them. They show the true form of war. I think the best parts in these books are the characters. Almost everytime when I'm reading these books in public places, someone asks me why my aged GIRL is reading

An excellent author with a unique writing style, should be compulsory reading for all young men.
