As time goes by , The books still hold there relevance, The war in the Ukraine , Russia's aggression, The world once again is on a precipice, But still people will not react, As a reader of these books and a historian and author, I fin d it sad that we have learnt nothing. I Wonder is Sven would even notice the difference with the world then and now, His work is well worth reading. I as a collector and dealer I have a respect for the suffering of all soldiers of any war, And I am grateful for the books written by Sven Hassel and feel if every one was made to read them there would be less wars in this mad world. His outlook is superb which is missing in these days of sorrow. Jamie Cross Militaria
