I have read Svens books since I was about 14 when my Dad used to give them to me. I have read them all over loads of times. Love all the characters, and never tire of the stories. A must read again and again

Started reading these books at 16 years of age (a long time ago now!!),, and have never tired of rereading them over and over again. Great characters in ferociously good stories, hugely recommended.

Hi, I read a lot of Sven Hassel's books when I was a teenager, and loved them. My older brother was more of war history buff and they were his books. I just saw the movie 'Fury', and thought of Hassel's books out of the blue, I hadn't even thought of them

So glad that I found this site. Fantastic to finally put a face to Sven and his comrades who have been with me for over 30 years. Incredibly saddened to hear of Sven`s passing. I feel as if I have just lost a friend. Rest in peace. *Raises glass*
