Kao student citao sam Haselove knjige sa odusevljenjem…sada kao zreo covek cinim to ponovo sa istim zarom.Zao mi je sto nisu sve knjige iskoriscene kao scenario za snimiti filmove…jer i ovaj jedan koji je snimljen vrlo je rdjavog kvaliteta./Zoran Belg

I was heavily influenced by Sven's books in the early 70's. I served in BAOR in many of the places he mentions & have the greatest respect for a true soldier. Respect to you Sven. RIP

As a teenager in the 70's, I read his books countless times. Almost all the books I had at that time have been thrown out or given to charity shops, but I could never part with my Sven Hassell books, such was the impact they had on me. Farewell Sven.
